Yea! School is coming next week and the Walton house is excited! Sam got his teacher assignment yesterday and we got to "sneak a peek" at his room tonight. It was so much fun and he was so excited. The class is really nice and cool with an underwater theme to it. He has a lot of kids from his kindergarten class that are in his and he was happy about that. Apparently, embarrassment starts early. According to Sam, I am an embarrassment. Now, I think that he likes me there for the moral aspect, but for everything else, I am an embarrassment. He did not want me to close or touching him at all. Really, it starts this early?
Needless to say, back at Mary Moore he is in his element and rocked it out. But, he does that only as long as I am not too close. By that I mean, he needs me there and wants me there but on his terms.
We are super excited about the school year and I know he just can't wait until the first day.
I did tell Ryan that he should not be tardy as much because his classroom is right at the front of the school instead of way in the back.
Isn't that something every parent should strive for? HA!!!!!! We all know I have a tardy problem myself!
