We had a little ant problem - Ryan said that it is the fact the we have not had a lot of rain.
So, we put out some poison on the window ledge where they were passing by. The ants, of course, then congregate around the poison and take it back to the queen. I am explaining this to Sam because he is asking lots of questions.
I said, "the ants are taking that back to their queen and she will eat it and die." Sam said "Does she have a chair?" NO, the queen does not have a chair but I totally get what he was thinking. Gotta love a little 6 year olds mind at work.

Baseball Season

Can you smell the hot dogs? The peanuts? The popcorn? You know what that means?
BASEBALL SEASON
Sam is playing coach pitch and the twins are playing t-ball. Let's start with Sam. He was off to a slow start but has really excelled. He is so cute and is hustling like a pro. We are still working on the batting and catching and throwing - just about everything - but he really seems to be enjoying it which makes us so happy.
Now, this is the first time the twins have ever played t-ball so it is what you would expect. Running to second rather than first, running with the bat all the way to first and jumping around and pulling weeds. But, they seem to be really enjoying it and you can't ask for more than that.
We have had a lot of Friday night games and you know what? There is nothing I would rather be doing on a Friday night.
